Bossard started her commercial fishing career in 1999, after she was hired on board the ship F/V Sunset. The 65' schooner converted to a salmon tender was owned by Murat Aritan. He has been a commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard who is married to Aritan and has joined their alliance to gain access to their businesses. They believe in conservative, sustainable managing of the renewable resources for seafood. Otolith is a wholesale direct seafood company, was established on the 7th of July 2007 Bella Bossard (age three), Andre Bossard (1 year old) as well as Bossard's mom. Bossard had returned to Philadelphia after the birth of her two children.
